TRIANGLE BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES (TBS) MINOTOME PLUS CRYOSTAT – FULLY RECONDITIONED. This cryostat is in superb condition. Our Biomedical Engineering Department opened it up, cleaned it, lubricated it, reassembled it, tested and calibrated it. It now meets all the performance criteria specified by its manufacturer.
This cryostat has an electric advance/retract function so that the user is not required to put his hands into the freezing chamber to accomplish this task.
This cryostat cools down quickly and quietly all the way down to minus 29 degrees C. The microtome operates smoothly at low temperature and the glass window warms up and stays condensation free. Three specimen holders are included and the rail mounted specimen press is also included. Our offer also includes the disposable blade adapter for low profile blades that can be seen in the images of this offer.
