Description
LEICA CM1850 CRYOSTAT – FULLY RECONDITIONED. This cryostat is in superb condition. Our Biomedical Engineering Department opened it up, cleaned it, lubricated it, reassembled it, tested and calibrated it. It now meets all the performance criteria specified by its manufacturer.
This cryostat has an electric advance/retract function so that the user is not required to put his hands into the freezing chamber as often.
This cryostat cools down quickly and quietly all the way down to minus 30 degrees C in the chamber, and minus 50 degrees C at the cryobar and the specimen holder. The microtome operates smoothly at low temperature and the glass window warms up and stays condensation free. Three specimen holders like the ones in the attached images are included. The rail mounted specimen press is also included.
